I have used exodus for two local moves. They have always been... amazing. Efficient, professional, kind, reasonable price. For all my belongings in two separate moves (loading, storing, unloading) only one item got the corner edge dented a bit into the edge of the wood (accidents happen and this was minor and super rare for them in my experience). Filing a claim was super easy. They were very responsive. The best furniture repair company in town came to look (that was who Exodus chose), and Exodus coordinated it all quickly. I didn’t have to lift a finger, the repair company came, repaired the item, and it seriously looks brand new. And Exodus and the repair company coordinated direct payment. Honestly this is how a company should be, and also how a company should stand behind their work. I will be using them again if I move again.read more

We are extremely happy with the moving services provided to us by... Exodus. The movers — Mike, Mario. and Vincent were excellent. They called before arriving , informed us of their ETA, and reviewed all of our belongings before starting anything. They worked efficiently and were careful to protect all of our items. They worked together as a team and we knew we were in good hands. They unpacked our stuff carefully and placed everything exactly where we wanted it. We felt listened to, respected and they reassured us throughout the process. They worked extremely hard from start to finish. Mary Alice — the coordinator - was wonderful helping us from the beginning to set up the move and coordinating the logistics. Ilan impressed us when he came in the beginning to estimate our move. The moving team of Mike Sr., Mike Jr., Isaiah & Vincente were of the... highest quality and caliber! They were so fast and the level of care they showed for my belongings was enough to literally bring tears to my eyes. I was a nervous wreck because I had problems with previous moving companies but then I saw this amazing group of men wrap my living room furniture with care and all my fears were gone! I even felt comfortable enough that I was able to get other things done around the house. They even made sure to grab boxes during the walkthrough to increase their productivity!The office staff was very helpful and responsive as well. Set me at ease throughout the move process.My only "less than perfect" was the helper hired in my new location - who was much less careful with my things and didn't pay attention to 'fragile' stickers on the boxes. I unfortunately had 2 bowls broken when I unpacked, but with 12k+ pounds of stuff, that's not too bad.Overall extremely pleased with Exodus and highly recommended them!read more

We chose Exodus because they were recommended to us by our realtor... and because we liked the service they provide of moving processions out of our old house and into a semi trailer and storing them in the same trailer, at their yard, until our new house was move-in ready. It made perfect sense to us to just load once and unload once.Everything step of the process, from estimating costs, setting up dates, billing, and the actual move out of our old house and into the new house 2 1/2 months later went flawlessly and painlessly. All promises were kept, including costs, moving dates, etc. From our experiences, this is an absolute rarity in this day and age.We would personally like to thank and commend everyone at Exodus, from Ilan, the owner, to the customer service reps, estimators, billing, and the two moving crews led by Mike Sr and Bennie. The crews both did an excellent job of carefully loading and unloading our goods and we’re very polite and respectful. All of the behind the scenes personnel were also very polite, respectful, and efficient. I can compare this cross-country move to a previous interstate move,... and it's night-and-day difference... With Exodus Moving being pure sunshine! Exodus was a god send in difficult times. This was our 6th household... move. Ilan mapped out the move from Calif which was a complicated deal with 2 storage units and an office. Mike and Alicia showed up on time with their “5 star” can-do”attitudes and got all loaded ever so carefully onto their biggest truck, despite my fears ( and other companies predictions that it would not fit . )They are the hardest workers AND excellent communicators so the local guys really enjoyed working with them and brought their best despite masks and COVID times . Six months later, when it came to doing our local move from an apartment into our new Colorado home, I blocked and tackled and begged Ilan to get Alicia and Mike (who are usually long distance movers ) as my people, and he told me he was “in the business of making people happy” so he flew them in from out of state to help us re settle !Mike and Alicia then showed up promptly the very next morning and maneuvered around our difficult high rise elevator situation to help us make a soft landing.read more

On Saturday, we had Exodus move my son locally in Fort Collins. The... guys Roman, James and Cooper did a great job protecting my son's furniture and moving him out of his Birch St. apartment. Then, they did the 3 flights of stairs to his new third floor apartment at Pavillions at Silver Sage. Roman, James and Cooper were veteran movers and were very knowledgeable and paid attention to details. It was tough to get the couch into the place but they did it. They were careful and personable as well. The cost was definitely worth it for our peace of mind. It is stressful to move and they made it very comfortable. While the estimate was off by about $2000.00, and the delivery date... was not met, the workers loading and unloading did a very good job. Also the office staff were polite. The real issue is that it isn't fair to under bid your competition and then charge the same rate quoted by other companies that play by the rules. It also isn't good business to promise delivery in writing and then tell the customer that the delivery window was met because you changed the date on subsequent paperwork. However, the move itself was handled well by conscience employees who did their best to make the move work. Special mention to Mike and Alicia Martinez who did a 5 star job in the delivery and off load of our household goods. Also Martin and his crew who did a bang up job getting our items loaded. This was our first experience with a moving company, and it has been... superb. From my first phone calls with Ilan and Lisa to a visit from the estimator Keri, everything was professional and reassuring.After living in our house for 50 years, moving was a daunting task, especially deciding what to move, what to sell, what to donate. Just when we felt overwhelmed by packing, Alicia, Marisa, and Matthew arrived to save the day. Oh my, where should I start? We thoroughly enjoyed working with all... parties involved with Exodus Moving for our out-of-state move! This was a new experience for us as we had always moved locally, consequently, were not certain quite what to expect. To be honest, we had a bit of anxiety about our furniture and belongings moving across country. From departure from Colorado to the delivery of our household goods/furniture in NC, everything went smoothly including communication during transit.Our initial moving day began on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Felix was the lead at our home in CO directing his crew as they loaded the truck. He and his whole whole crew were prompt on arrival, very courteous, polite, conscientious and careful with all our furniture and property. Felix, his friendliness and sense of humor were an absolute joy. After the original introductions when he and his crew arrived, I could tell he would be very easy to work with. He saw, too, that I have a sense of humor and hence the day began. He came in when the crew got started and said to me, "Kara, it's show time!!" He was fun! They all assisted in disassembling any furniture necessary and did it quickly and with expertise. I was impressed! Thank you, Felix and crew!We are having a new home built, so currently we are in a nice little rental and consequently do not have room to accommadate all the "stuff" we unloaded. Today, Saturday, May 8, 2021, the truck arrived promptly at 8a to unload at our rental. The leads, Mike and Alicia Martinez, and their crew on this load were OUTSTANDING!! Who says you can't have fun unloading and unpacking?? They called early in the morning to confirm if the time they planned on arriving was going to be acceptable. They were also prompt on arrival, very courteous, polite, conscientious and careful with all our furniture and property. These guys were SOOO much fun!! It kinda felt like were moving with family! They helped organize the boxes/furniture that we will be putting in storage till our new home is built. The guys put our coffee tables, end tables and beds together, too! They are very quick and accurate. So nice not to have to do that part. Alicia sat with us after the truck was unloaded to go over the inventory and make certain we were not missing anything expected on this delivery. We are expecting one more vault in a couple weeks with some additional boxes that could not fit on this load. The boxes that are still in transit are items we certainly can live easily without, so the wait is not a problem at all. The load delivered today contained all the furniture and items that were necessary. Thank you, Mike, Alicia and crew! I used them in 2015 for a Colorado to New York move and then again in 2016 for the return trip. My entire household (4 bed 2 bath each time w/ basement etc) was moved efficiently and with care. We needed a grand piano moved to a remote mountain studio. We tried... one mover and he didn't think he could do it. We contacted about 6 more. Exodus was the first to reply. We requested that someone come out ahead to time to be sure it was doable. Jason came out and said "no problem". Wow, he gave us all kinds of confidence. We met the crew in Fort Collins where the piano was and watched them disassemble it and pack it up. Then they followed us up to the mountain studio. During the entire process, the team was led by Michael, who is a polite, positive, crew leader with will power, innovative thinking and a great work ethic. Although a tough assignment, there was never a moment of doubt with these guys. The whole team worked so well together. I'd recommend this company for the crew alone. However, I do have to mention several equipment-related and other negative factors: the lift on the truck was hinky and didn't work so a bit of time was spent playing with that to get it to work and we were paying by the hour. One of the team members left the pin to the grand piano hinge at the seller's home and didn't realize it until we were about 20 minutes on the way to our place so the caravan had to wait while the small car drove back to get it. That took over 1/2 hour and when it came time to pay, we were charged for that time so I told the billing manager that would have to be removed which he did but I should not have had to tell him to do so. We felt if they were better equipped with more ramps of various sizes they would not have had to work so hard nor tear up the sod near the studio getting the truck right up to the porch steps. Also if they would have had better quilts or pads, the piano would not have arrived with mars. There are several marks under where the straps were tightened so much that they marred the finish of the piano.read more

Once they arrived, the movers were very efficient and knew just how... to pack the POD I had ordered. The day before, the office called, to verify the 830 am starting time, and I had planned accordingly. The next morning, about 900, the moving crew called and said they had one other job, had been double booked, and it would be a later starting time....no idea of when, but later. My husband and I used Exodus to move from Fort Collins to Harrisburg,... Pennsylvania. The packing crew did a great job making sure everything was packed safely to prevent anything from breaking. They were very quick in getting our 2 bedroom apartment packed into a hundred or so boxes. The next day, the loading crew came and loaded all of our things onto a semi trailer. Again, these guys were quick and efficient and very careful in making sure things were packed snuggly to prevent any damage.The only reason I give Exodus 4 stars rather than 5 was because of our delivery date. Originally, we were told we would have our things delivered to Pennsylvania by the end of the month, which was a couple of weeks after they loaded everything up. However, that deliver date was pushed back a week and then pushed back, yet again, another several days. I understand that it's hard to perfectly coordinate and time the arrival of a truck traveling across the country that is also delivering and picking up other people's things.However, we received our things when we were told we would after those few changes. The guys had our things off the truck and into our temporary apartment in under an hour and a half. They were extremely quick, friendly, and cautious in making sure there were no damages to the floors, doors and walls of our apartment. Despite our initial frustration with Exodus in the delivery date of our belongings, they did a WONDERFUL job moving our things. They made our move across the country so much easier and less stressful than if we had been the ones packing and moving our things.Exodus is a company worth using for your move, whether it be across town or across the country.read more

Moving after 23 years in a home is stressful, but Exodus Moving and... Storage made it a good experience for us from start to finish. All the people we dealt with were professional, friendly, and efficient. We were very impressed with the care the moving crew took to prevent damage to our furniture, walls, and floors. I'm still not sure how they got our massive upright oak piano through the narrow door spaces.We highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move!read more

The two gentleman who were assigned worked incredibly hard to move... all of our furniture and stuff. They were very careful with boxes. Nothing broke, nor sketched. My move from Fort Collins to Broomfield was extremely easy. All... communications prior to the move with the company and staff were excellent. They showed up exactly when they said they would. Mike and Darrell were very careful in moving my furniture into, out of the truck and placing it in the new house. I am very glad l chose Exodus to move me to Iowa. They were very... considerate of the fact l had not set foot in my storage unit for over a yr.and could not recall if everything was packed well enough to make the trip. There were several staircases and doorways that made it quite difficult and all the while the movers maintained a positive and professional attitude! I've worked with Exodus Moving and Storage for years. They stored an... annual publication for a company I worked with. We distributed that publication year round. I made frequent trips to their warehouse and the staff was always pleasant and helpful. The facilitators were clean and are publication was kept safe.I have since moved on from that company and have now started my own business. We recently used Exodus to move from Northern Colorado to a location... about 110 miles away. Because we wanted to get the entire move done in one day, Exodus provided three trucks and a crew of eight men. They arrived as scheduled and after familiarizing themselves with the items to be moved and their location, they immediately got to work. What a fantastic group of men! Each one was extremely professional, polite and went out of their way to accommodate our individual requests. They ensured that the floors were protected. Each piece of furniture was wrapped BEFORE it left the house. The doorjams and railings were wrapped to ensure that nothing was damaged when moving items out of the house to the trucks.They had all of the trucks loaded within about four hours. After a well deserved lunch break and a two + hour drive, they arrived at our new location and immediately got to work. Once everything was in the approprpiate room, they did a walk through with us to ensure that the pieces of furniture were in the right location and that we were satisfied. These guys worked a good 13 hour day and even at the end, they were still the fun, polite and professional crew they were early in the morning.The three crew leads (Abraham, Raul and Mike) ensured that we were fully satisfied with each aspect of the move. Once we started to unpack, we realized that only one piece of stemware had been broken. Please note, however, that we packed the dishpacks, not Exodus and given the volume of highly fragile items they moved, one wine glass was not a big deal!There are a couple of things I would like to point out however. The estimate we received was a "bit" off. The actual move cost about 20% more than the estimate. We will be following up with Exodus on this. However, even with the increase in the total amount it was well worth the expense given the great job they did. We also noted that the guys didn't always pay attention to boxes marked "fragile" or "do not stack", but with the exception of the one wine glass it does not appear that anything was damaged.I would highly recommend Exodus and would use them again. My sincere thanks to the entire crew for taking a big part of the stress out of the move.read more

Exodus Moving did a fantastic job of moving my furniture and... belongings from a 2,000 sq. ft. house in Colorado 1,100 miles to Oregon. Everything arrived in perfect condition due to the care and expertise of the loaders and furniture packers. The crew both loading and unloading were great. I chose the "flexible plan" which meant I had a 10 day wait for my furniture to arrive but it saved me a great deal of money. Exodus Moving had the best price quote of any of the moving companies including the ones where you pack your own container or pod. And my final price was even less than they quoted. I would use Exodus on any future moves and highly recommend them.read more
