As the nation prepares to mark a historic milestone—America’s 250th anniversary in 2026—and Colorado celebrates 150 years of statehood, moments of reflection feel especially meaningful. For Exodus Moving & Storage, these anniversaries are not just dates on a calendar; they are reminders of the service, sacrifice, and leadership that have shaped our communities and our country.

That is why Exodus is proud to continue its long-standing support of the Field of Honor® in Fort Collins, a powerful Memorial Day tradition that honors those who have served—and continue to serve—with dignity and gratitude.

A Commitment Rooted in Service

Honoring veterans has never been a one-time initiative for Exodus. It is a value deeply woven into who we are as a company and as a family.

Exodus has long maintained close ties to the veteran community through:

  • Early and ongoing partnerships with Veterans Life Magazine
  • Strong relationships with veteran Realtors who entrust Exodus with meaningful life transitions
  • Participation in local veteran community gatherings
  • Dedicated support for senior veterans and military families during moves that mark major chapters of life

On a personal level, this commitment runs even deeper. Ilan Levy, co-owner of Exodus, is a veteran, and CEO Carrie Levy is the wife and mother of veterans. Their family’s lived experience with military service brings authenticity and heart to Exodus’ involvement in veteran-focused efforts.

The Field of Honor®: A Living Tribute

This Memorial Day weekend, Exodus will once again participate in the 6th Annual Field of Honor®, held May 22–25, 2026, at Spring Canyon Community Park in Fort Collins.

The Field of Honor® features 500 American flags flying in formation, each accompanied by a medallion that tells the story of a specific hero—active-duty military members, veterans, first responders, teachers, community leaders, and personal heroes. Visitors are invited to walk among the flags, read the medallions, and reflect on the lives and legacies represented.

“Every flag tells a story,” says Carrie Levy. “As the wife and mother of veterans, this event is deeply meaningful to me—both personally and professionally. At Exodus, we believe in honoring service through action.”

Sponsored by the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary, the Field of Honor® is free to the public and designed to be a space for reflection, gratitude, and community connection.

Creating Lasting Impact Beyond the Weekend

The Field of Honor® is not only a tribute—it is a catalyst for tangible community impact.

Since its founding in 2021, the event has generated more than $68,000 in grants supporting local nonprofits that serve veterans and first responders. Past beneficiaries include organizations providing mental health support, adaptive recreation, equine therapy, fly-fishing retreats, honor flights, and emergency response resources.

Funds raised through the event are reinvested directly into the Northern Colorado community, extending the spirit of service far beyond Memorial Day weekend.

Showing Up with Integrity and Follow-Through

For Exodus, participation in the Field of Honor® reflects a broader philosophy of leadership—one rooted in integrity, consistency, and care.

“Having served in the military myself, I understand the lifelong impact service has on individuals and families,” shares Ilan Levy. “It’s not enough to simply say thank you. We believe in showing up—with integrity and follow-through. That’s what this event represents.”

Whether supporting nonprofits with logistics, helping senior veterans downsize with dignity, or guiding military families through major transitions, Exodus strives to lead with respect and compassion in every interaction.

Looking Ahead: Legacy, Gratitude, and Community

As America approaches its 250th birthday and Colorado marks 150 years, Exodus sees this moment as an opportunity—not only to honor the past, but to model what patriotism looks like in action today.

For Exodus, that means continuing to show up. Supporting causes that matter. Honoring those who have served. And helping build a legacy of gratitude that future generations can carry forward.

The Field of Honor® is one of many ways Exodus lives these values—consistently, and with heartfelt respect.
