Why Choose People?
In our post earlier this week we were excited to announce one of our newest national certifications indicating the values we strive to uphold here at Exodus. Being Choose People certified means that we have been tested in 8 different categories in an effort to quantify how we treat our employees. By receiving this honor, we are proud to be recognized as a place where employees thrive and are happy to come to work. As an organization with one of the lowest employee turnovers in our industry in the whole country, we are excited that those who work for us feel like family.
Who Needs Choose People
Choose People has created their national certification program to benefit all parts of the business cycle including companies, employees and consumers. By impacting all human capital in this cycle, the positive effect on the community is a natural result. But who specifically should be interested in working with Choose People? The list starts at the very highest level and ends with the most basic user.
Investors & Business Leaders- Those looking to put their money into the development of a company will select a company over its competition that keeps its employees happy and has low employee turnover. Generally a place with happy, productive employees also provides a solid and positive bottom line.
Marketers- It is well known that leveraging your human capitol and the positive work environment can bring strength to a brand. When marketers are highlighting what separates one company from the next, this certification can be a valued addition.
HR Departments & Employees- Employee retention makes human resources more about enriching the lives of its current employees and less about hiring new ones. Choose People certification can increase moral and a sense of company pride. Conversely, when it does come time to hire new employees, this certification can aid in recruitment by serving as a sign to good people that good jobs are available in a good company.
Consumers- Choose People certification gives conscientious consumers the ability to reward companies that care about their employees. By using their buying power to support these organizations, the public can contribute to general positivity in the community at large.
