One of the most important things to have when moving yourself from one place to another is a moving checklist. There are a huge amount of things that need to be remembered when cleaning out the home room by room. Not only do you need to remember to pack all of the furniture and place, but all of the small knickknacks as well need to be packed away safe and sound in a box that is marked so.
Organization in a moving situation is key. If you’re not organize, it’s likely that you will forget one are two things. These things could be rather important to you, but they could be small and easily forgotten. The phrase out of sight out of mind holds true no matter how important something may be to you. If your favorite sculpture accidentally fell behind the television, and you didn’t look in that corner when you picture TV up, it’s likely it will still be there.
Having a checklist that says what is done and what isn’t can be as simple as which broom has been cleaned out, or it can be as complex as which important objects or where. This all depends on how organized you tend to be. We don’t expect people to be so organized that they know exactly what they have and how much of it. We do however ask that you know what rooms you have cleared out and ensure that everything in that room has been picked up.
