Home Movers FAQ
Here’s a handy guide to some of the frequently asked questions during residential moving:
Isn’t a local moving company more expensive than a van-line syndicate?
No, not necessarily. We know there are many moving companies in Colorado to choose from. We’ll gladly give you a free move quote with no obligations. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Since Exodus is a Colorado moving company does that mean you only offer moving services within the state?
We can move you anywhere! Although our headquarters are in Fort Collins and we have moving and storage facilities in Denver, we’ve been moving people and goods across the nation and the world for years. As we are constantly expanding, we maintain our local sensibilities paired with national capabilities making us both uniquely dependable and uniquely capable. Whether you are moving to Colorado or Chile, we handle small or large moves- from one mile to a million.
If I can’t move into my new home immediately, can you store my things?
Yes. With 44,000 square feet of secure storage space available, we can easily accommodate your needs. We own and operate two indoor local storage facilities located in Colorado: a 20,000 square foot facility in Fort Collins; and a 50,000 square foot facility in Denver. With state-of-the-art security and highly trained employees on site, your personal belongings will be safe until you’re ready for them. Whether you need household or business storage for a day, a month, a year, or longer, we offer storage services to fit your needs.
Do you handle international moves?
Yes, we do. We’re counted among one of the best international moving companies in operation today. We’ve established a trusted shipping network to transport your belongings safely and securely. Our overseas moving experts are ready to answer all of your questions and help plan every detail of your international move.
Do you offer moving boxes and wrapping materials?
Yes. We carry a large stock of moving supplies including moving boxes of all shapes and sizes for sale. As part of our energy conservation efforts, we also offer recycled boxes based on availability and large rubber bands in lieu of tape.
