It’s that time of year again! The fall months are almost in full swing, and Halloween will be coming up quickly, which means that you have to find some fun events to take part in. Luckily, we have the lowdown on all the best Fort Collins and surrounding area events, so you can find the perfect place to bring your little ghosts and goblins, or just head out with your significant other for a fun night.
If you are just moving to Fort Collins, take a look at these upcoming Halloween events!
Tiny Tot Halloween: put on by Country Financial, Tiny Tot Halloween is a trick-or-treating event that’s just for small kids and parents. Tiny tots meets in Old Town Square at 10am on October 31st. In the square, your kids will get a bag to use for treats, and after that the entire group will move throughout the town collecting candy from characters along the way.
FORToberfest: this one is just for the adults (but you can bring your kids too!), and includes beer, bands, and bikes. FORToberfest starts on September 19th, though, so you’ll have to hurry up to take part in this event.
Cemetery Stroll: on September 20th, the annual cemetery stroll happens – believe it or not, this stroll is partly spooky, but mostly it’s educational and historical.
The Torture Institute: this annual haunted house in Greeley promises to be particularly spooky this year with the ‘Big Top Torture’ theme that the group has planned. We’re not so sure that your little ones will love this haunted house, but it will sure be fun to head to Greeley with some of your friends for a frightening night!
Morbid Nights in Greeley: located at the Greeley Mall, Morbid Nights is often hailed as being one of the best haunted events in the area happening on Halloween. If you are really into spooky things, Morbid Nights in Greeley is the place to go.
Fritzler’s Corn Maze: happening right now until the end of October, this corn maze is huge, fun, and family friendly.
The Pumpkin Patch At Bartels Farm: sometimes it’s fun to just walk around amidst a whole lot of pumpkins. If you or your kids love pumpkins, Bartels Farm is the place to go. This farm is open on the weekends from now until the end of October, and you can check out all the pumpkins, buy a few, and see what else the farm has to offer.
Bow Wowvania: if you have a pooch that you love and love to dress up, Bow Wowvania is really the place where you have to be on Halloween! This event takes place at The Farm at Lee Martinez Park in Sherwood, Colorado, and it’s all about the dogs – bring your pet, a great costume, and get ready for some canine fun.
